Tickets

Tickets to shows are $5 to students presale (5 days before each show) and $7 at the door. Tickets will be sold 5 days before the show during lunch at Chugiak, in the cafeteria. At Eagle River they will be sold in the FDCC office. 

 

Participation

Shows and dress rehearsals are mandatory (affects a letter grade). All Shows and rehearsals will be at the Steve Primis Auditorium on the Chugiak High School Campus.

 

Combined Rehearsal at Chugiak High

Sept 25-7AM to 10:15AM. A bus will be provided to CHS for the ERHS students. 

 

Fall Show Rehearsal

Dress Rehearsal October 11 (Dress Rehearsal means costumes are required)

10:30 AM to 4:30 PM (School Sponsored Activity)

Eagle River will be bussed from ERHS to the Steve Primis Auditorium at 10:30 and bussed to ERHS from the Steve Primis Auditorium at 4:10 PM 

 

Fall Show on October 12

TWO SHOWS: 6 PM and 8PM

Call for performers is 4:45 <

Alaska All State Music Festival

• Bartlett High School November        (Rehearsal) 7:30 AM to 8 PM Provide your own lunch.
• Layer your clothes. The rooms are very hot.
• Transportation is on your own.  Music is memorized.
• Auditions are due in Mr. Lange’s office the 2nd Friday of September.

FOR EVERY ASAAA EVENT, AN ELIGIBILITY FORM IS DUE 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT.
For example, to go through the all state choir process, you will need to submit 2 eligibility forms. 1, the second week of September (for the audition) and 1 the week you are selected to all state. (3rd week of October)

If you are absent from class, have someone bring your forms and audition material to me.

Costumes-Pajamas and Formal Attire. It takes 2 weeks to get the formal attire from New York. (Choir Pictures for the yearbook will be taken during these shows.)

Qualifier for State Solo and Ensemble May 12 and 13

Eligibility due Jan 11, 2017

Selection title, composer and original score and accompanist information due Jan 11, 2017. ONE HAS TO HAVE AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF MUSIC TO GIVE TO THE JUDGE WITH MEASURES NUMBERED. COPIES WILL DISQUALIFY YOU. This is for ASD as well as state. Dress code is "DRESS UP"! If you are in Ensemble, all must be eligible for state as well as ASD. Mr. Lange must OK your selection.

Call is 6:30 PM

Formal attire, open to the public. We hear all of the choirs. This means you are at West high school from 6:45 PM until 9:00

Choral Festival-San Francisco (NOT REQUIRED)

April 19-24

We will have the total price by the 16th of September and finalized itinerary by Jan 17th.

Half is due October 13th

Checks are made to Chugiak High School Choir or Eagle River High School Choir.

We have a “1 adult to 8 students” ratio for chaperones.

VERY IMPORTANT! Students are responsible for turning in their work to their teachers before we leave on the trip or turn it in the day after we return.

May 7th from 1:40 PM to 4:10 PM (School Sponsored Activity)

Eagle River will be bussed from ERHS to the Steve Primis Auditorium at 1:40 PM and bussed to ERHS from the Steve Primis Auditorium at 4:10 PM.
